Candace AKA MSVOXXIEBROWN Glass
Founder
As a **Line Dance Community Leader and Event Host**, I have a passion for creating unforgettable, high-energy dance floor experiences. My mission is to bring people together through the universal language of movement—the shuffle, stomp, and slide. You’ll often find me leading the dance floor at major events, including the vibrant STRAWBERRY AND BLUES PRESENTS: CANDACE AND RASHIDA’S SOUTHERN BLING BIRTHDAY BASH!
My signature style is deeply rooted in **Soul and Urban Line Dancing**, blending innovation with respect for the classics. Whether I’m choreographing fresh routines or hosting themed socials, my goal is always the same: to make sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face and a little extra groove in their step.
When I’m not dancing, I’m on the hunt for the next perfect floor-filler song to keep the energy alive!
I launched Strawberry and Blues Steppaz in August 2025, inspired by two things I absolutely adore: strawberries and blues music. The name came about during a conversation with my Aunt Maxine Bedford Hennessy. I mentioned strawberries, she said blues, and the idea just clicked—strawberries have always been a family favorite, and my love for blues music blossomed when I met my best friend and biggest supporter, Timothy Adams.
Tim has been my rock throughout this journey. From the moment I said I wanted to start line dancing, he was cheering me on. When I dreamed of owning a pair of boots, he said, “Let’s get you some boots.” When I wanted to join a group, he encouraged me. And when it was time to create my own group, he stood by my side every step of the way. His unwavering support gave me the confidence to turn my dream into reality.

Our story
STRAWBERRY AND BLUES STEPPAZ was founded by Candace LaShay AKA MSVOXXIEBROWN Glass, driven by her lifelong passion for line dancing. From childhood memories of the Electric Slide to now, she's back to share her love for dance with everyone. Although she wanted to join a sorority, or live near the South as a child, she is working hard to make Strawberry and Blues Steppaz amazing! Stay tuned for some exciting things COMING SOON!!!!!
What we offer
STRAWBERRY AND BLUES STEPPAZ offers members a chance to learn new and old line dances, travel to rodeos and events, meet new people, and participate in community service. We're more than just a dance group; we're a community!
